Well, I had started a spiritual journal some time ago, but really neglected it.  I decided to start another one, since I’ve renewed my interest in achieving 101 Things in 1001 Days.  For now, I am keeping it as a private journal.  Perhaps in time I will open it up.

Spiritual

  1. Dark Nights of the Soul by Thomas Moore – started week of 2/13/12

Classic

  1. Hamlet by Shakespeare   – started 2/29/12

Well, I’ve finally scheduled one.  In two weeks, I’m going out with my sister-in-law and my husband’s cousin.  I’m not sure what we’re doing – right now, anything out and socializing would be good.  I’m thinking we might have dinner and go see a movie.  Not exactly painting the town red, but with two young children, I’m not sure I have energy enough for that anymore!  I’m really looking forward to this!

Ok this one is not going to happen.  It is difficult to learn to use something when you no longer have access to it.  I have a book, but no way to practice what I read.  Not the end of the world, but a bit disappointing.  I will just have to find something else to learn!

Well, my son is reading like there is no tomorrow, so I think I can scratch this one off the list.  He is six years old and his favorite magazine is O Gauge Railroading, a magazine for model railroaders.  I have to say he comes by it honest; his paternal grandfather LOVES model railroads and has quite a display of his own.  I’ve just never seen a child as fascinated by trains as mine.  Sadly I believe his school views this interest as indicative of autism (along with some other traits) – I think they are DAFT.
